Delroy Curly Ray’s Comal Condo - on the banks of the beautiful Comal River; across the street from Schlitterbahn; an easy walk to the downtown shops, bars and restaurants. The perfect location for your family vacation. This lovely 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bath condo overlooks the crystal clear Comal River from its two balconies high up in the treetops. Enjoy Schlitterbahn located just across the street, float the Comal River and get out at your own backdoor steps or walk up to the Garden St. Bridge for a soothing 30 minutes of “Cruising down the River” – perfect for the little ones. Enjoy the pool and hot tub or explore the beautiful Hill Country. So many things to do you’ll want to stay a week!
The kitchen which opens into the dining and living area is fully equipped and has a wine cooler. The dining table seats six and there is room for three at the bar, plus there is a table on the balcony that seats four. There is a full sized washer and dryer, should you need them. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and a love seat, perfect for gathering together to play games or for watching cable TV. There is also a half bath on this level.
Upstairs is a large master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, balcony overlooking the river, and private master bath. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds (which could be pushed together to form a king size bed) and its own bathroom. A pack n play is also available. All linens are furnished. 2 parking passes provided with one guaranteed numbered spot. The second parking pass is for general parking and is 'first come first served.' This condo is on the second floor and does not have an elevator. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property.

    This place was GREAT, my family and i had a blast. It was the perfect location. We all got Blast Passes for Shlitterbahn and during the wait for the ride we could walk across the street if we were hungry it was that close. Access to the river and nice pool the Property was very clean. Hope we can come back next summer, if so it will defiantly be in condo :)

    Nicely equipped with the exception of lack of chairs in the living room, bedrooms, and upper deck. Additional lighting is need do to the skylights being covered up, especially in the 2nd bedroom. A stand up reading lamp in the living room is needed.. This is not to be critical as the unit as this is one of the better units we have stayed in, in of 20 years in staying in various units at Camp W. and Comal. We think the suggestions advanced would enhance the guests stay, especially the longer term guests.

    The condo was upscale, well stocked, beautifully decorated, cozy, and felt like home! The beds and couches were comfy and the master bath was fantastic. Although we live in New Braunfels we needed temporary housing for a few months and Curly Rays was the perfect place to be. We weren't ready to leave when our time was up!

    As for the the management company, New Braunfels Escapes was prompt in responding when the water went off due to a break in the water main. They stayed in touch until we had water back on later in the day. That in addition to the fantastic communication during the reservation phase won a customer for life. I will make sure to recommend them and will surely use them again when I need to rent something in the area.

    All in all, this place is well worth the money and the location couldn't be more perfect! The river just makes everything less stressful.
