Come to the ‘Cowboy Lodge’ if you are looking to relax, or to make memories with your friends & family. A place where you can sit above the river on a large deck and listen to the sounds of flowing water over the rocks, wild goats bellowing as they climb on the 400 ft. cliff across the river, or tubers having fun as they pass by. You can also watch wild turkeys, deer, and a wide variety of bird life. This is a newly constructed luxurious 4 bedroom/3 Bath home right on the Guadalupe River between the 2nd & 3rd River crossings on River Road in the gated community of Cliff View Condos with 300 feet of waterfront river access on a pebble beach. The pebble beach is nothing short of FANTASTIC!!! You can enter the river right off the pebble beach and exit at a variety of places up & down the river, there are shuttle services available to return you to the property. Also, if you enjoy live music, the property is short drive to River Road Ice House & Gruene. Interested in fishing? This is the perfect place for you! The Guadalupe River at the 3rd crossing is stocked with trout starting December 1st! Best fly fishing in the off season.

The Cowboy Lodge sleeps 12 guests comfortably. Open kitchen/dining/living room with many extra amenities. Granite countertops with large island for extra seating in the full kitchen which includes dishes, all appliances and cookware with everything you need to feel at home including a Keurig 12 cup & K cup combo coffee maker. Owners have provided a child's highchair and Pac N Pay for convenience. It also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. The master bedroom has a king bed with an en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed. The 3rd bedroom has 1 twin over full bunk bed and 1 full bed. You will find the 4th bedroom downstairs with 1 twin and 1 twin over twin bunkbed, Smart Tv and attached full bath.

There are tube rentals (during Summer months) next door at Cap's Crossing. A shuttle back from Lone Star Float house provides a perfect afternoon float trip. Additionally, there is a large rock beach a short walk from the house and a deep natural swimming hole there as well. A large car port is the perfect spot to toss washers and catch a break from the sun. The beach is private as you are in a gated community with other vacation renters. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No smoking, no parties, no pets. The maximum occupancy is 12 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. No RV's, trailers, ATV's or tents allowed. You can park 4 cars at the home, and another 2 cars at the extra parking. Wi-Fi was updated March of 2024 and is much stronger now! Cell Phone Service is very spotty in this area. No refunds/cancellations for outages.

This cabin is one of the 8 Moo Cow Cabins. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home may be monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

Most amazing views!

We absolutely loved our stay in the cowboy lodge. The views were so beautiful early in the morning with goats on the cliffs and lots of carnivals on the fence. We also saw some woodpeckers and raccoons. The house was perfect for our family. We had an Easter egg hunt in the yard and kids had a blast. It was right on the river with both low spots and high perfect for small children and big a like. We absolutely loved the longhorn on the wall. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed for cooking.

**Title: A Perfect Riverside Getaway! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible vacation rental in New Braunfels, and I can't recommend it enough! Nestled along the beautiful Guadalupe River, this home is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a relaxing escape.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the stunning views of the river and the peaceful surroundings. The house itself is beautifully decorated and outfitted with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The open-concept living area was perfect for family gatherings, while the spacious outdoor deck provided a fantastic space for enjoying our morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Access to the river was a huge highlight. We spent our days floating on the river, kayaking, and simply soaking in the sun. Being able to step out of the house and directly onto the riverbank was a dream come true! The property also features a lovely fire pit area, perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.

The kitchen is the one area that I would say needs some attention. I did find that some of the pans and dishes were put up dirty. Some of the pots and pans need to be replaced as well as other items. May just need a really good “going theough”.

Additionally, the location was ideal—conveniently close to local attractions like Schlitterbahn Waterpark, restaurants, and charming shops in downtown New Braunfels.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their attention to detail truly made all the difference.

In summary, if you're looking for a peaceful, fun-filled vacation rental on the Guadalupe River, this is the place to be! We absolutely loved our time here and can't wait to return!

Weekend Getaway October

Absolutely gorgeous

Amazing

We finally were able to get all of our grown kids together for a trip. The Cowboy Lodge did not disappoint. There were 8 of us and plenty of room. The kitchen was equipped with everything we need to make meals. Clean, nicely updated and decorated. The location is perfect with the private area for these cabins on the river. The rental process was simple and convenient. We will definitely be planning another trip and staying here again!

Cliff View Cowboy Lodge RR94404 #4 New Braunfels Texas

We recently stayed at Cliff view Cowboy Lodge RR94404 #4 New Braunfels Texas. The management company was very professional, the river property, condition, and location were beautiful and clean. Lodge #4 was a quiet place, and the rooms were clean very comfortable with good size beds. Unfortunately, there was an issue with a group of guy people staying across from our lodge. Kids will be kids, they became intoxicated, loud, and started to fight within their group and others. I reported the issue with management, I was told that the other property at Cliff view were individual rented out by other rental company. Our rental company was not able to do anything about the issue that happen that afternoon. Overall, I give it an A+, I would stay at the place again.
